Job Summary

Mom's Meals is seeking a skilled Utility Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of building and grounds, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and all related utilities maintenance throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal up-time operation with minimum adverse impact on operations
  • Monitor and maintain the water treatment system to keep boilers and refrigeration system condenser in proper operating conditions
  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration, steam, and pneumatic systems
  • Utilize CMMS to support the maintenance function, including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work each day
Requirements
  • AA in Engineering, Operations, or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in industrial or plant operations, maintenance, utilities, or a related field
  • Skilled in rigging, and use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools
  • Knowledge of cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, air filtration, and lubrication devices
Preferred Qualifications
  • 480v 3 phase knowledge required
  • Experience and knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices
  • Allen Bradley experience
  • Certifications in ammonia refrigeration or boiler systems
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen
  • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
