Position Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Vice President of Finance to join our executive leadership team. This permanent role offers a unique chance for a seasoned financial expert to influence the growth and success of our organization.

The Senior Vice President of Finance will be instrumental in strategic planning, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring the organization’s financial stability and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, and oversee the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives.
  • Manage all financial operations, including budgeting, financial forecasting, cash management, investment priorities, and policy development.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations by reviewing existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and leadership on decision-making matters impacting the organization, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and investments.
  • Assess and advise on the implications of long-term planning, the introduction of new initiatives, and regulatory developments.
  • Enhance, develop, implement, and enforce organizational policies and procedures to improve overall operational effectiveness.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as a reliable problem-solver for business challenges.
  • Offer technical financial guidance and expertise to colleagues within the financial domain.
  • Optimize banking relationships and initiate strategies to improve cash flow.
  • Continuously enhance the budgeting process by educating department leaders on financial matters affecting their budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial leadership role within the healthcare or medical sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in capital finance, including planning, analysis, and fundraising.
  • Strong grasp of financial strategies and performance metrics.
  • Extensive experience with financial management software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and concepts clearly and concisely.
  • High integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset.
