We are seeking a skilled Vocational Nurse to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure the delivery of timely, safe, and quality care.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
- Provide care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician and under assigned administrative supervision.
- Collect and handle specimens, and document discharge plans for each patient.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the delivery of care across the continuum.
- Perform phlebotomy duties as assigned.
- Current LVN License to practice in the State of California.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and Electronic Medical Records (EPIC).
- 2+ years' experience as an LVN.
