School Psychologist Specialist

Job Overview
Soliant is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our education services, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to support students' academic success and well-being.
Estimated Salary: $52.50 - $58.00 per hour based on experience and location.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels. Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Counseling and Support: Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies. Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
- Professional Development: Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results. Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures. Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
- Personal Qualities: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
