Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development teams to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications and services
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution
  • Participate in patching and vulnerability remediation efforts to ensure the security and integrity of our infrastructure
  • Manage IAM roles and conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Audit pipelines and inventory accounts to ensure efficient and secure operations
  • Administer source code repositories and collaborate with senior engineers on project scoping and planning
  • Participate in incident response efforts and contribute to the development of incident response plans
  • Attend standup meetings and collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with open-source databases such as PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience in building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
  • Knowledge of AWS and other cloud services
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java or.NET
  • Prior experience working on a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the face of distractions
  • Experience with dashboarding and reporting management
What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual full-time base salary range of $90,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines and senior management approval. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401(k) participation.
