Daily Responsibilities:

Our client, a prominent employee-owned general contractor and construction management firm, is seeking to hire two Safety and Environmental Compliance Managers on a contract-to-hire basis. The project involves a significant commercial construction initiative, which includes the addition of two new buildings to a research and technology campus. The north building will feature 21 stories of office space, while the south building will offer amenities such as an auditorium, fitness center, food hall, and retail space. The total project encompasses 750,000 square feet.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating pre-construction reviews and planning sessions.
  • Conducting regular site inspections, performing risk assessments, and reviewing Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) documents while providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all personnel on the job site.
  • Proactively identifying potential hazards.
  • Alerting responsible parties when immediate corrective actions are necessary.
  • Administering a progressive disciplinary program effectively.
  • Performing basic computer operations as required.
