Job Summary

As a key member of the Louisiana Downs Investment Company LLC team, the Executive Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our casino and executive level activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files for new and existing employees.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager and Executive Management team, including scheduling appointments and handling correspondence.
  • Coordinate the distribution of mail and correspondence to the General Manager and Executive Management team.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and correspondence on behalf of the General Manager and Executive Management team.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks, including typing, filing, and data entry.
  • Procure and manage office supplies and materials.
  • Assist managers with reports and forms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Executive Management team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a business administration role, with a strong background in gaming, hospitality, or a major corporation.
  • Proven knowledge of corporate staff functions and operations.
  • Previous experience in managing a department or functional area, with responsibilities including P&L management and planning.
  • Background in Casino Operations, Hotel Operations, Marketing, or Finance is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license required.
