We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
- Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery.
- Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instrument counts throughout procedures.
- Assist surgeons in providing hemostasis during surgery.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
