About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) in Portland, Oregon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience working in property management or a similar field. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various aspects of building upkeep, from electrical and plumbing to carpentry and landscaping.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the daily upkeep and cleanliness of our 30-unit low-income housing tax credit property. This includes tasks such as:

  • Maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
  • Landscaping and exterior repairs
  • Janitorial services, including trash removal and recycling

In addition to these responsibilities, the Maintenance Technician II will also assist with repairs, painting, and drywall installation, as well as other tasks as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a Maintenance Technician I position or two years of previous maintenance technician experience in property management
  • Janitorial experience is preferred, but not required
  • Motivation, time management, and the ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights
  • A current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
