Job Overview

Mountaintop Beverage LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Development Associate to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in various projects, working closely with our engineering team to conduct research, create technical drawings, and perform calculations and simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and product design.
  • Create and update technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to evaluate performance.
  • Participate in product and process testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and technical integration.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on project progress.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to set up PM and calibration programs within the CMMS system.
  • Responsible for assisting engineering with improvements in areas within the plant.
  • Plan, design, and implement projects under the supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Assist in the development, modification, and review of documents, including Preventive Maintenance plans, Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Records, Material specifications, and other forms.
  • Assist in creating work instructions for maintenance and production.
  • Observe and follow GMP guidelines ensuring product quality.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Strong computer, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data.
  • Ability to keep detailed accountability records, including budgets, contracts, and inventory.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Familiarity with engineering principles and design concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb up and down ladders, and work in tight spaces.
  • Ability to use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and tools.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb constantly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, rotate, push, and pull frequently.
  • Ability to work with equipment containing electromagnetic components.
