The Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in researching, designing, and implementing training programs that align with the agency's operational needs and adhere to both state and federal regulations. This role will focus on enhancing employee development in areas such as Unemployment Insurance, Reemployment services, Labor Market Information, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive research and develop training materials tailored to the agency's objectives.
  • Collaborate with management to assess training needs and deliver targeted programs.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new hires, focusing on essential regulations and software systems.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Build partnerships with internal teams and external organizations to enhance training opportunities.

Work Environment:
This position is on-site and requires a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of four years of experience in planning and delivering educational programs, with a focus on training development. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field may substitute for experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

A degree in Training and Development or related fields, along with experience in adult education and curriculum design. Proficiency in various software applications is also beneficial.


Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems and other educational technologies.
