We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Institutional Research to join our team at the University of Charleston. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the university's strategic direction and informing data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive institutional research plan that aligns with the university's strategic goals and objectives.
- Design and execute studies to collect and analyze data on student outcomes, faculty productivity, and other key performance indicators.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision making at all levels of the university.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop and implement initiatives to improve student success and institutional effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in institutional research and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement at the university.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as higher education, education policy, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional research or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective research plans and studies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators at all levels of the university.
