Position Overview

This role is integral to the production of high-quality cheese. Responsibilities will encompass the entire manufacturing process, including packaging, while ensuring product consistency and quality.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage production equipment
  • Implement Clean in Place (CIP) protocols on machinery and tools
  • Accurately collect product samples for laboratory analysis
  • Maintain comprehensive production documentation
  • Complete necessary paperwork in compliance with customer and regulatory standards
  • Assist colleagues in upholding safety measures and product quality
  • Adhere to safety regulations
  • Keep workspaces clean and organized
  • Support the plant manager during shifts by following directives
  • Operate in accordance with HACCP guidelines to ensure product safety and quality
Physical Requirements:

This position necessitates frequent actions and conditions, including:
  • Twisting, bending, and squatting while handling objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Extended periods of standing and walking
  • Lifting items weighing up to 60 lbs from ground level
  • Good dexterity and coordination
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • Willingness to be exposed to various physical and environmental conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift Certification
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a production or packaging role
Work Schedule:

We are hiring for two shifts:
  • Startup - 2am start time
  • Days - 9am start time
  • Full-time, with hours per week
  • Saturday work is mandatory
  • Availability for Sundays and holidays may be required

Compensation:
  • Starting wage of $19.50
