Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Forensic Assertive Community Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and treatment to individuals experiencing significant mental health/psychiatric symptoms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical and functional assessments to develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide crisis and behavioral management, as well as goal-directed individual counseling and skills teaching.
- Facilitate groups and provide medical/psychiatric case management to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Holds an associate arts degree in nursing and has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness.
- Or bachelor's degree in nursing and has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness.
- Or holds a graduate degree in nursing and has at least 2,000 post-BA hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness.
- Demonstrates the ability to conduct medical and functional assessments, develop treatment plans, provide crisis and behavioral management, and communicate effectively.
