We are seeking a skilled Groundperson to join our team at Asplundh, a full-service utility contractor. As a Groundperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our line clearance services.
Key Responsibilities- Operate chainsaws to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
- Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chippers.
- Service vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Entry-level position, no experience required. Previous experience a plus.
As a Groundperson, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions and physical demands. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work at heights.
