Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform housekeeping duties and ensure a safe and clean environment for our residents, families, and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and staff workspaces, as well as maintaining various types of floor surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and staff workspaces
  • Perform cleaning procedures such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, polishing, and scrubbing
  • Ensure all work areas and carts are kept safe, neat, and secure
  • Apply infection control and department and facility policies and procedures that directly affect housekeeping duties
  • Follow all safety rules when using equipment and chemicals and report unsafe work areas to a supervisor
  • Re-stock housekeeping carts, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet tissue dispensers throughout the campus
  • Assist with dining room clean-up process as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
