Role Summary: We are looking for a Project Coordination Specialist to support the effective delivery of demountable wall and glazing installation projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Your strong attention to detail, exceptional communication abilities, and multitasking skills will be crucial in managing project activities, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Project Manager in the planning, organization, and execution of glazing installation projects from inception to completion.
  2. Work alongside the Project Manager to create project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  3. Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring compliance with established timelines and budgetary limits.
  4. Support the procurement and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials necessary for project execution.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  6. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of architectural drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
  7. Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  8. Prepare and manage project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout materials.
  9. Identify and address project risks proactively, resolving any issues that may arise during the project.
  10. Promote a culture of safety by following company policies and procedures, advocating for safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated experience in project management within the construction or glazing sector.
  3. Strong understanding of glazing systems and installation methodologies.
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans, specifications, and contractual documents.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration and relationship-building with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  8. Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  9. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  10. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
