Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing general ultrasounds, including abdominal, DVT, pelvic, obstetrics, small parts, and breast exams. You will work closely with radiologists to provide diagnostic information and assist with biopsies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasounds, including abdominal, DVT, pelvic, obstetrics, small parts, and breast exams.
  • Work closely with radiologists to provide diagnostic information and assist with biopsies.
  • Be proficient and confident in assisting radiologists for biopsies.
  • Have a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of patients' needs.
  • Feel comfortable working independently, as you will be the only sonographer on shift.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer, or RDMS OB/GYN Specialty
  • Current Radiology license through the State of which you will be working
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS)
