About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Behavioral Health team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement nursing care for assigned patients and assist the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Demonstrate competency in strong basic patient care skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, and performing EKG's, phlebotomy, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested.
  • May be floated as needed to treat all diversities.
  • Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
  • Current LVN license issued by Texas Nursing Board.
  • Completion of basic arrhythmia module within initial 90 days.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of hire, and maintain throughout employment.
