Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the supplier and customer contract review process, ensuring thorough analysis and interpretation of financial terms while documenting appropriate revenue recognition.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal business partners.
  • Act as a liaison between Accounting Close teams and Legal/Technical Accounting.
  • Effectively communicate contractual terms to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Manage the input, maintenance, and review of the internal contract databases, focusing on ongoing process enhancements.
  • Support departmental initiatives aimed at improving controls, including conducting internal reviews and audits of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure adherence to accounting standards.
  • Identify and coordinate business solutions across multiple teams to enhance organizational value.
  • Conduct contract reviews to validate financial terms in conjunction with supplier agreements, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential income opportunities.
  • Assist with audit deliverables for Mid-Year, Interim, Year-End, and Committed Customer audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • CPA certification or MBA is preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in Office 365 applications (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint preferred)
  • Experience with SAP, Essbase/Hyperion is a plus
  • Experience working in a large corporate environment
