Position Summary

The Custodial Worker will be tasked with a variety of cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and orderly environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Executing assigned cleaning tasks in a commercial setting.
  • Completing all duties within the designated time frame while ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Performing sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming of hallways, staircases, and office areas.
  • Dusting and wiping down furniture and surfaces.
  • Emptying and cleaning waste receptacles and ashtrays; managing recycling materials.
  • Sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies.
  • Utilizing a power vacuum effectively.
  • Selecting appropriate cleaning agents and adhering to dilution ratios.
  • Following manufacturer guidelines for all cleaning products.
  • Maintaining an organized cleaning cart.
  • Assisting in the setup of facilities for various events.
  • Adhering to instructions provided by the Account Manager.
  • Following a structured daily cleaning routine.
  • Implementing step-by-step procedures for each cleaning task.
  • Observing safety protocols when using equipment.
  • Reporting any equipment issues or unusual occurrences to the Account Manager.
  • Ensuring cleanliness meets customer satisfaction standards.
  • Keeping all cleaning supplies and equipment in order.
  • Maintaining regular attendance.
  • Promoting a positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Complying with safety policies to maintain a secure workplace.
Qualifications
  • Must successfully pass a federal background check.
  • Prior experience in custodial services is preferred.
