Electrical Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent - Electrical to join our team at GPAC. As a General Superintendent - Electrical, you will be responsible for managing the labor, materials, production, and superintendents on multiple civil and roadway projects.

• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Estimate and order materials, and evaluate worker requirements to complete jobs.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers.
• Confer with managerial and technical personnel, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
• Record information such as personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms and reports.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Diagnose and inspect systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Advise management on potential hazards and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codes.

• Knowledge of building and construction, including materials, methods, and tools involved in electrical work on large civil and roadway projects.
• Mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications to solve problems.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, clients, and subordinates.
• Ability to evaluate information and make decisions to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and tasks.
