Job Summary
Cedarhurst of Salina is seeking a skilled and caring individual to serve as a Certified Medication Aide. This role involves providing direct resident care services, managing medication distribution, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct resident care services, including medication administration and management.
  • Conduct regular resident assessments to identify changing needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document resident interactions, medication administration, and other relevant information.

As a successful Certified Medication Aide, you will require a high school diploma or GED, current state certification as a Certified Medication Technician, and at least one year of experience in senior care. You should also possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to lift/move up to 50lbs independently and up to 200lbs with assistance.
