Job Description

Chamberlain University is seeking a part-time Pediatric Clinical Faculty member to teach students in our program. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university and an unencumbered professional nursing license in TX. Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
  • Plan clinical experiences for and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
  • Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Unencumbered professional nursing license in TX.
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
Availability and Schedule Expectation:
  • This opportunity is scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 7a-7p.
  • Locations: DFW.
