RWJBH is in search of a committed Nurse Administrator for our Cardio Thoracic ICU Department located at our New Brunswick facility.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications

Desirable:

  • BSN or actively pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Certification in clinical specialty
  • 5 years of RN experience with a focus on CVICU
  • Prior leadership experience

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Valid Registered Nurse License in New Jersey

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and holidays
  • Full-Time Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting interviews and hiring staff
  • Overseeing orientation for new hires
  • Evaluating patient care and staff performance
  • Developing educational programs for the unit
