Job Summary

At Lifebanc, we are committed to saving and healing lives through organ and tissue donation. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Donor Services Specialist I to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the tissue and eye donation process through interaction with hospital personnel, coroner personnel, and tissue processors.
  • Identify and evaluate referrals for potential organ, tissue, and eye donation, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Collect and interpret patient medical and social history information, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with hospitals, coroners, medical examiners, and funeral homes, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Deliver thorough and accurate reports to the Family Support Coordinator, ensuring departmental quality guidelines are maintained.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; undergraduate degree or related area preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as support staff in the clinical healthcare field.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
