Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the performance of sales representatives, including recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, training, disciplinary actions, and employee separations.
  • Directs branch targeting efforts, ensuring sales representatives have high-quality leads integrated into the CRM system.
  • Acts as a champion for the company, ensuring that every field representative comprehends the sales process and provides ongoing training to promote a proactive approach.
  • Submits requisitions for new sales representatives and collaborates with management on recruiting, evaluating, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
  • Establishes sales and gross margin objectives with each sales representative, ensuring these targets are both attainable and challenging while delivering a suitable return to Brady Industries.

  • Formulates and executes strategies to effectively penetrate various market segments, including Hospitality, Industrial, Health Care, and Food Service, to diversify the customer base.
  • Collaborates with marketing teams to produce sales-related materials.
  • Maintains sales volume by adapting to evolving trends, economic indicators, competitive landscapes, and local market supply and demand.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role supervises field sales representatives and is accountable for their hiring, training, performance management, recognition, and disciplinary actions, as well as addressing grievances and ensuring employee retention within the sales department.


Work Environment

This position operates within an office environment that includes a warehouse. Employees may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather, and extreme conditions. The noise level is typically moderate, and standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, headsets, and photocopiers are regularly utilized.

Position Type and Expected Hours

Travel Requirements

This position necessitates local travel, including visits to surrounding areas and other company locations as required for business purposes.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A High School Diploma is required; a college degree in sales, marketing, or business is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
