AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) possess profound domain-specific knowledge, capable of tackling complex concepts and feature designs.

The AWS Industries (AWSI) team empowers clients across various sectors, including Automotive, Strategic, and Global Financial Services, to achieve their objectives using AWS technology.

You will advocate for your clients across technical sales, partnerships, support, and product teams, serving as a trusted advisor to help them focus on their mission.

Our team operates at the forefront of technology, making a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver in-depth technical expertise to facilitate the adoption of AWS products aligned with customer objectives.
  • Collaborate with specialists, sales, marketing, and product teams to address your clients' most pressing business challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and executives.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and workshops to support your clients' technical goals.
  • Act as a thought leader by sharing best practices through various channels, including AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements.
  • Educate clients on the advantages of AWS and engage in architectural discussions to ensure successful cloud deployments.
  • Provide feedback on effective strategies and challenges to the broader specialist community and product teams, acting as the primary contact for urgent client issues in your area of expertise.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical, customer-facing teams.
  • 5+ years of experience with Analytics, Database, and AI/ML technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of successful technical consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale clients.
  • Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services and a working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives, IT management, and developers.
  • Experience in software development or internet-related industries.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
