Join our team as a Maintenance Technician. Your primary responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance and routine repairs on automated material handling system components.
You will report directly to your supervisor and will be responsible for:
- Conducting preventative maintenance and general repair tasks on conveyors, sorters, shuttles, and related automated material handling assets.
- Responding to requests for assistance with building issues, conveyor jams, or shutdowns.
- Completing assigned projects to support operational departments.
- Performing general building repairs on various equipment.
- Utilizing CMMS to log daily maintenance activities.
- Collaborating with contractors and service providers.
- Operating all automated material handling and mobile equipment.
- Maintaining all fleet and associate assets.
- Assisting with complex repairs and projects on automated systems.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in building and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
- Knowledge of safe work practices, including LOTO standards.
- The ability to lift, push, and slide packages weighing up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and pneumatic concepts.
- Proficiency in using electrical multi-meters, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- The ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and schematics.
