Job Responsibilities:
The role involves overseeing and managing the Maintenance & Services/Roads and Grounds divisions, which include Equipment Operations and Grounds Maintenance.

The manager will supervise, guide, and coordinate team members in all aspects related to the planning, programming, operation, and upkeep of motorized equipment, as well as the maintenance of roads and grounds.

It is essential to ensure that all divisions have operational strategies for safety, fire prevention, emergency evacuation, accident response, and snow removal, along with ongoing training on the implementation of these plans.


Essential Qualifications:


Candidates must exhibit experience in managing a workforce of 50–100 individuals responsible for comprehensive grounds maintenance, including directing the branch in the procurement, receipt, sorting, safeguarding, storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials and supplies necessary for branch operations.

Proven ability to schedule and prioritize tasks while monitoring work performance is required.

Experience in the development, execution, and supervision of extensive safety and hazardous materials protocols with a demonstrated history of success is essential.

Candidates should possess knowledge of methods and procedures to ensure compliance with established requirements and the ability to resolve technical issues. Familiarity with preparing charts, graphs, and narratives for briefings and management reviews is also necessary.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited institution is preferred, although substantial relevant experience may be considered as a substitute.

Licenses and Certifications:
Candidates must maintain all necessary city, county, and state licenses and/or certifications as applicable. A valid state driver's license is required.
