Clinical Technicians at Quadrant Inc. play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinical Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of direct patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other essential patient data.
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical skills and technologies, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned patient duties within the designated timeframe, prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient care.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of growth and development principles to provide optimal care for assigned patient populations.
- Accurately document patient information and reinforce discharge teaching and home care skills.
- Communicate patient status updates to Registered Nurses in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses to create a professional development plan, enhancing skills and delivering up-to-date patient care.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or one year experience as an Emergency Medical Technician.
- Electronic Medical Records experience.
- Ability to wear a 7 to 10 pound protective vest into procedure rooms.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- CPR certification.
