Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Speech Language Pathologist with BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from infants to geriatric patients, and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients in their homes, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Document client progress and treatment plans, using electronic medical records (EMRs) and other tools as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with home care clients, preferably in a speech language pathology role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other technology used in home care settings.
