Job Description

This Mechanical Design Engineer position involves designing and developing custom automated machinery for manufacturers worldwide. As a key member of the team, you'll collaborate with senior engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative machinery, generating detailed 3D models and creating comprehensive drawing packages.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead design reviews, maintaining Bills of Materials and managing Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECRs/ECNs).
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations to validate designs and enhance performance.
  • Lead technical projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resource needs are met effectively.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison to customers, offering expert guidance and maintaining open lines of communication on project progress.
  • Collaborate with Controls Engineers and the Manufacturing team to ensure smooth integration and assembly of equipment.
  • Support hands-on equipment testing and troubleshooting to ensure successful deployment.
Requirements

We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual with strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and experience in designing and executing custom machinery projects.

Compensation

$90,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
