We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Instructional Aide to support our Special Education teachers in providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students. As an Instructional Aide, you will work closely with teachers to assist with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment. You will also provide individualized support to students with special needs, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs
- Help students with toileting and feeding needs
- Assist with maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment
- Support teachers with administrative tasks and clerical work
- Supervise students outside of the classroom as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours or successful completion of Paraprofessional test
- Prior experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Bilingual ability in Spanish and English preferred
