Position Overview: The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing the upkeep of the golf course and its surroundings, which include the clubhouse, various types of grass, trees, and wetlands. This position operates under the guidance of the golf course superintendent, ensuring the optimal health and appearance of the course.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Upholding industry standards and environmental practices for turf management
  • Managing the application of chemicals and fertilizers while assisting with necessary documentation
  • Offering expertise and guidance based on knowledge of agronomy and horticulture
  • Leading and participating in the maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths
  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment
  • Assuming the superintendent's responsibilities during their absence
