Aviation Fueling Specialist

Position: Aviation Fueling Specialist
Location: Airport Operations
Compensation: $27.85/hr. (Full-Time)

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid CDL A or B along with a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to secure Hazmat and Tank Endorsement.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-shift, and collaborative environment.
• Reliability and ability to follow instructions from supervisors to ensure safe and timely service.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt, storage, transfer, and dispensing of petroleum fuel products.
• Operate motorized fueling vehicles, including fuel tank trucks with both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Utilize non-motorized fueling equipment, such as hydrant carts.
• Conduct fueling and de-fueling of aircraft in accordance with flight crew and flight plan specifications.
• Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles, reporting any malfunctions or discrepancies.
• Perform precise fueling calculations.
• Fuel ground support equipment (gasoline or diesel) as necessary.
• Engage with carrier personnel effectively.
• Use communication devices such as hand-held radios, telephones, and computers.
• Complete and submit all necessary documentation related to fueling operations.
• Respond to fuel-related emergencies, including spills, by utilizing emergency response protocols and adhering to established environmental and company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security regulations.
