Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in the setup, make-ready, and operation of a rotogravure press.
  • Assist in training new team members and oversee daily operations.
  • Interpret job jackets to ensure production meets specifications.
  • Perform machine make-ready to ensure proper production setup.
  • Conduct quality checks to meet established standards and make necessary adjustments.
  • Understand various paper types and their interaction with the printing process.
  • Monitor ink pH and viscosity, making adjustments as needed.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Utilize common tools for quality control and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks according to schedule.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Document production metrics and downtime accurately.
