About the RoleAs an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Performing assessments and developing plans of care for assigned patients
- Collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to refine and achieve plans of care
- Continually monitoring patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs
- Providing health care teaching to patients and families
- Evaluating patient progression towards attainment of outcomes and documenting the effectiveness of interventions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 1 year of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or TNCC Instructor certification within 1 year of employment start date
St. David's South Austin Medical Center is a 368-bed acute care facility offering a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties.
