Production Technician
Job Summary:
The Production Technician will assist in various areas of the laboratory, gaining exposure to bottling, inventory, safety, and other functions. This role requires a strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in bottling and packaging of products
• Work with chemists and other chemical technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks
• Assist in bottle washing and cleaning
• Assist chemists with washing glassware
• Perform monthly inventory on packaging materials
• Learn and perform proper handling of acids and bases
• Support the HPS safety program and notify supervisor of any safety hazards
• Support the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the HPS Quality Management System
Requirements:
• Two years of college; pursuing a science-related degree; minimum of sophomore standing preferred
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to support team in executing various projects and assignments
• Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
• Strong work ethic and ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
