Demolition Technician

The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects. This includes demolition, labor-intensive tasks, and maintaining the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment and assigned service vehicles.

• Perform production processes, including demolition and other labor-intensive tasks
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities and set up staging areas and equipment for each project
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times
• Communicate with restoration supervisors and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance

• Effective oral communication and basic math skills
• Experience in cleaning and restoration preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• IICRC certifications preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods and repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects
• Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Starting at $18/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit. Company matching Simple IRA retirement fund, health insurance, and PTO.
