The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the pristine condition and upkeep of both the interior and exterior spaces of the property. This role serves as a vital contact point for our internal and external stakeholders regarding all facility-related matters. The specialist is expected to deliver prompt, efficient, and high-quality service while adhering to all safety protocols, embodying our company's commitment to 'Create Raving Fans'. Trust is paramount in this position, as the specialist often serves as the first line of response for maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following duties and responsibilities are essential to the role and may be expanded based on business needs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Oversee the general maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness of the facility's interior and exterior. This includes, but is not limited to, landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weed control, planting, leaf collection, and snow removal as necessary. Interior maintenance includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, light bulb replacement, plant care, minor maintenance of water heaters and HVAC systems, trash disposal, minor drywall repairs, painting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Proactively identify and report potential property issues to management for timely resolution.
- Maintain the assigned company vehicle in a safe and clean condition.
- Document purchases and completed work accurately.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure operational efficiency and address safety hazards.
- Be available for overtime during peak activity periods.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Foster effective communication with team members and support the company's culture, upholding our core values of honesty, diligence, and enjoyment in the workplace.
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements for this position, which may be met through a combination of education and experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant experience is preferred.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
