Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate sales by identifying customer needs and making recommendations on products and services.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including new products and promotions.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including displaying and maintaining merchandise on end caps, shelves, and counters.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • 6 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively with customers and associates.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. The associate may work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to outside weather conditions.
