Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Face to Face Interpreter to join our team at Access 2 Interpreters, LLC. As a Face to Face Interpreter, you will use your language skills to assist individuals during medical, social service, and other types of appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality interpretation services in Swahili and English
  • Assist individuals in understanding medical and social service information
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet client needs
  • Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and 10-panel drug screening
  • Proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training program
  • Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or completion of a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation
