Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic services to patients with upper extremity impairments, deficits in daily living abilities, and diseases or disorders requiring energy conservation and swallowing mechanism re-education.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic services in accordance with physician's orders.
  • Cognizant of home health standards and practices, including assessments specific to discipline and documentation requirements.
  • Basic computer knowledge and abilities.
Requirements
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Graduate of a program in occupational therapy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
  • Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience.
  • Current CPR card.
  • Current California driver's license.
  • Valid automobile insurance.
