Job Overview

The Security Guardian is a critical role within our organization, ensuring the safety and security of all clients, staff, and property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections of client rooms to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Escort clients to appointments as needed, promoting a positive and supportive experience.
  • Maintain good rapport with clients, encouraging adherence to facility guidelines and protocols.
  • Screen all clients and visitors at the main entrance, utilizing magnetometers/x-ray machines to detect and prevent weapons from entering the site.
  • Perform crisis intervention to de-escalate potential crises, documenting all situations and interventions.
  • Routine rounds throughout the facility, including hallways, stairwells, floors, bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchen, and office spaces.
  • Respond to incidents promptly and efficiently, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all individuals.
  • Assist with client intakes, ensuring a smooth and seamless onboarding process.
  • Daily pack-ups and logging of client property belonging to AWOL clients.
  • Store and remove client property once storage time has expired, maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
  • Complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Contact emergency services as directed, including police, fire department, and other first responders.
  • Monitor video surveillance cameras and the fire prevention/detection alarm notification system, reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Promote fire safety and evacuation procedures, ensuring the safety of all individuals in the event of an emergency.
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, supporting the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
