Curb Adapter Insulator

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Insulation Technician to join our team at CDI. As an Insulation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our curb adapters meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure interior dimensions of finished shells with accuracy.
  • Install insulation material, lifting lugs, foil tape, & applicable labels according to CDI's specifications.
  • Operate various power tools to complete assigned tasks, including glue guns, drills, sprayers, and pinspotter.
  • Review and clean welds, applying cold galvanizing spray paint to CDI's specifications.
  • Track and log work via computer/tablet, sending products to the next step.
  • Accurately measure finished product to determine critical dimensions & weights.
  • Use power tools to cut lumber to correct measurements for crating.
  • Construct shipping skids/crates using pneumatic nail guns, chop saws, and other power tools.
  • Loading completed product on trucks in line with carrier, DOT, and CDI's requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong time management skills.
  • Ability to safely use various measuring tools & various other hand, power, & pneumatic tools.
  • Knowledge or willingness to cross-train in other production departments.
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended amounts of time.
  • Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently & lift 70 pounds occasionally.

The estimated salary for this role is around $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
