Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaper / Groundskeeper / Handyman to join our team at Excellence Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, horticulture, and property maintenance, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute landscaping and horticulture projects, including planting, trimming, fertilizing, and mowing.
  • Maintain the grounds and property, including cleaning outdoor living spaces, furniture, and equipment.
  • Assist in inventory and organization of tool sheds and garages.
  • Supervise outside contractors and vendors, as needed.
  • Perform minor fixes and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Pick up supplies and materials from local hardware and landscaping stores.
  • Perform sanitation duties, including trash sorting, removal, shredding, and trash bin cleaning.
  • Responsible for pest control and removal, including placing bait stations for rodents.
  • Respond to requests in a timely and professional manner, providing clear solutions and plans.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related professional experience in landscaping, horticulture, or property maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of landscaping and horticulture practices, including irrigation and pest control.
  • Basic knowledge of ornamental horticulture and gardening tasks.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safety protocols.
