Finance Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Paralegal to join our Corporate team at Morrison and Foerster LLP. As a key member of our Project Finance team, you will assist with entity formation, ongoing operations, and corporate records maintenance.
- Assist with entity formation, including checking corporate name availability and preparing drafts of corporate organizational documents.
- Assist with ongoing operations of corporations and corporate records maintenance.
- Assist with and coordinate corporate closings, public offerings, acquisitions, and mergers.
- Assist with due diligence procedures, including online and factual searches, and organization of due diligence materials.
- Review, prepare, and file UCC financing, continuation, and termination statements.
- Prepare and file documents for ongoing corporate operations and maintain corporate records.
- Proofread and redline documents.
- Conduct research and perform library and online searches.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience in corporate or finance practice areas. You should have a strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and excellent writing and communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Two years of relevant experience in corporate or finance practice areas.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines under general supervision.
- Strong sense of accountability and taking ownership over projects.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing work product.
- Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects and flexibility in shifting focus.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
