Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Kentucky Blood Center Inc. as a Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for assisting volunteer donors during the registration, medical screening, and phlebotomy processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct phlebotomy procedures on donors in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient registration and medical screening of donors.
  • Travel regularly with a team to various sites within Kentucky to conduct phlebotomy services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and other stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a desire to interact with the public.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proof of education and certifications required during the interview process.
  • Related training and education are a plus.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
