About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid schedule position that requires extensive experience in machine learning and a strong background in the AdTech industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Data Engineering Initiatives: Spearhead the development and optimization of data pipelines that support machine learning models to enhance our advertising technology solutions.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into sophisticated data models and algorithms.
  3. Oversee Data Infrastructure: Ensure the collection, storage, and processing of large-scale data sets are optimized for machine learning applications.
  4. Develop and Maintain Data Infrastructure: Create a robust and scalable data infrastructure that supports both real-time and batch data processing.
  5. Stay Current with Industry Trends: Identify and implement best practices in AdTech and machine learning.
  6. Mentor Senior Data Engineers and Data Scientists: Foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  7. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all data engineering and machine learning activities comply with data privacy and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on machine learning models, ideally within the AdTech sector.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
  4. Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Flink, Spark) and cloud platforms (preferably GCP, but also AWS).
  5. Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience in deploying ML models at scale.
  6. Proven ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
